Alley - just caught up on this. Hopefully when you reply back - everything will be under control and he will recuperate just fine. I sincerely hope all goes well with you, your hubby and your kids.
Just think of all the people wishing you and your family well!
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm sure you're really scared, but try and stay as calm as you can for yourself, him and your children. Sounds like you have family to help out - that's really good.
I almost lost my husband to a brain aneorysm 10 years ago and after 1 month in intensive care he finally turned the corner and pulled through. I hope you are as lucky as I am.
Have been keeping up with this post. Praying for you and yours.
Hold firm to your faith though I know this difficult to do right now. You have your family supporting you, many prayers for you and your DH across the country, & a God who is in control. Blessings :aww
Oh my Goodness, I am glad I didn't read this till now. Makes me upset that you were treated so incmpetently. I am a retired nurse and I can't believe he wasn't admitted to the Hospital imediately with O2 that low and the Cardiologist called. When I read Jeaucamom's thread I totally agreed. You have to look after you at these places these days. I never leave my family alone in the hospital. I don't know what has happened to healthcare providers these days. It is just not the same. Praying for your husband. If I we couldn't call on the Lord I just don't know. Looking forward to hearing a good report. Hope you have gotten a little rest. I know how tough it can be on the family too.

Praying you got a little rest and your DH is doing much better. Your children may feel more connected and helpful if they could draw Angels to hang around their Daddy's bed. Wish I could send you an angel to hold, but here's a picture next best thing.
I am your guardian Angel
Please hold me in your hands
Hold me tight
And feel Gods love
And know he understand
When your fears and thoughts
Are more than you can stand
We'll Pray to God above
To hold you in his hands
Hope this poem helps you, just close your eyes and feel his warm loving hands holding you and your family.
I know I'm off my rocker but it does help, if you can visualize it.
Cindy
We know what you are going through. Our son was in ICU for a long time on a ventilator but is now doing very well. We understand the exhaustion, anxiety, and loss of control that happens with this type of situation, and know that prayer was the only thing that got our family through it.
You and your husband are certainly in our prayers, as are your children.
