My hubby informed me tonight, as I was cleaning the brooder for my 1 week old chicks, that he thought I would kill them all in the first few days! He commented on how big and how many feathers they are getting first. Of course it caught me by surprise.
Considering all the hours I have spent on the 'puter, the books I have read, and how many people I have talked to locally that have or have had chickens themselves. I just started laughing at him and reminded him I have 30 more coming in the morning to get ready for as well.
SHOWED HIM!!!
Now he really has to help me build our coop!! I've already decided on a plan and size for it. Isn't that the hard part?
