Get ahold of any large animal vet, they should easily be able to AI her, and probably have the "stuff" on hand. Alot of people go this route now, up here at least. Much easier financially, mentally, etc then having a bull on the property. We have 8 bottle calves right now, and two of them are heifers. Needless to say, I have already layed down the law, that the girls are not for eating, lol! I would love to try fresh milk, plus the fact that we can raise our own beef calves each year, from the two girls. Good luck with her
Oh yeah, I can't advise you on the AI costs, but can't imagine it's tooo terrible, considering alot of big herds up here, are done that way. Now if you are looking for amazing bloodlines, etc, that may be a different story, lol! We will AI our girls, as we do not need a bull on the property, as much as I like them.
