My chicks are afraid of the dark! This is the third night we are attempting to let them "cry" it out but it's sooo hard! My poor babies. They have not had a heat lamp on during the day in over a week, but the minute the sun sets they scream until I put the lamp on. They show no sign of being cold, and they are still in the livingroom.

Hi everybody, how are all of you doing how was everyone's weekend? does anyone have any hens that are laying that they need to rehome?

So my rooster is a FBCM, and I just found out that that is kind of a big deal. Who knew, I mean besides the hens who treat him as if he were Elvis himself. I swear some of them even faint at his crow on occasion.

I just realized I never officially introduced myself, just jumped straight into questions, lol I just got back into chickens last year, I live in Clintondale/Highland I currently have about 35 chickens,and 12 ducks and i'm planning for more

. I would also love to get two goats and my baby boy wants pigs he has 6 leghorn chicks my dad bought him when he got his.

I forgot i also have some mixed eggs in the bator should hatch on the 11th or 12th. (at least half of them should)
