Hudson Valley NY *chat thread*

I have eggs in the incubtor right now..not due to hatch for a week or 2...other wise i would gohalfs on some chicks with you. Maybe somone else needs some chicks?!
We need to find more Hudsonvalley people to come to the thread!!

You will probably find most of your neighbors are on the southern ny, dutchess county, and below thread. Serenity lane, i might have some available soon (brabanter, appenzeller spitzhauben, naked neck, and maybe polish). Were you looking for any specific color of polish?

I actually got 3 chicks today, a silve laced polish, a blue Cochin, and a buttercup. Let me know when yours are ready though.. Maybe

In my coop right now I have a white leghorn, 3 golden comets, and 5 white silkies. In my brooder I have a buff silkie, a silver laced polish, a blue cochin, and a buttercup. I would like a good color variety.. Maybe more blue or laced, splash would be nice, white crested too.. Pretty much anything but plain white, I have enough white right now.
When do you plan to have chicks available?

In a few weeks. I double ordered this year and had to take both (not sure how many are coming in this next order, but I might have about 15).

True, in fact, most live on Long Island and in the regular NY thread, most live waaaaaay upstate. Many of the hudson valley peeps just might not have found this thread yet. I live in northern NJ (very northern tip) so I visit the NY and PA threads as well.

Yes..they are all fried..im going to buy a new incubator this week..my little giant one just dosnt cut it anymore! I spend $45 on lavender orpington eggs, and they're all dead
