I dont think the owls will bother the chickens..my run is all fenced in aswell and iv never had a problem..we have tons of coyotes and fox here aswell.the only thing i worry about are racoons and stray cats.
Your birds are beautiful!! That pic of you holding the hen is awesome!!! She looks kind of like a hawk lol!

I love the pic of that bird too! They said she was an aracauna ..I don't know. Ohh, btw, that's my daughter in the pic.lol All is well here. = )

Im tired of this rain already..but the garden needs it.

I haven't even started my plants yet! I'm gonna blame the weather. 0r maybe George Bush. Bahaha I needed a chicken/ducky fix so I truly sat out with the chickens and an umbrella.

We planted a day or 2 after the frost we had..didnt even fill the hole garden up yet, but i dint know what other plants to buy lol haha if i owned an umbrella i would be doing the same thing!!! I feel bad for my chickens, havnt let them free range in acouple of days cause of the rain..just looked at the weather on my phone, and it going to be 90 in the next couple of days!! Im not ready for the heat!

Hey there, Lexi! Hope you had a great trip! And, um yeah...this weather doesn't feel like the end of May. Hubby ran the heat lamp out to the coop for the poor duckies. I hope they'll be okay. I'm usually busy with gardening and cooking for the weekend....just don't feel like it. Feels like I should be out apple picking instead. Lol
