I just watched acouple snowmobiles go down my road and I can hear them all over! I would like to go out but I much rather stay in my warm house were im not freezing and getting wet lol plus I would have to shovel infront of the garage doors....ugh just to much work! Maybe when the BF gets home from plowing!

You have the right idea. My DS and I shoveled earlier and everything was covered again by the time we were finished so we quit! Did some laundry, pulled pork is in the crockpot and I made a batch of oatmeal cookies. Wine time!

Good ideas! Thanks! Well they made it through the night. If worse comes to worse they can come inside but I dont have a brooder set up or anyanything. Hopefully the power stays on and I dont have to worry

thats my coop,if you couldnt tell lol im sure we got another 12 inches last night..I had my porch and walkway completely cleared when I went to bed last night..woke up and couldnt open my screen door!..I had a nice little path out to the coop that was gone in the pic you can see where I made my way to the coop this morning...it was up to my knees!!!

TOO much snow! Wow! We certainly didn't need that 2nd round of snow. I love how your coop is 'nestled' in. Looks like it gets good shade in the Summer. We lost power for about half an hour last night. Glad it came back on before the house got cold. This morning I shoveled while DH pushed the snow blower and the snow was up to my mid-thigh. It's never gonna go away!!!!!!
More tomorrow I heard and somebody on FB said another storm on Tuesday? Say it ain't so!

Thankfully we didnt lose power and all the chickies are great! Everyone is mad about the snow and my brother helped me shovel out the adult chickens coop and he goes "sarah, your chickens complain a lot! " he usually doesnt come out of his room, hes a 14 year old video game addict and didnt get that the girls were complaining about the snow lol
This morning I literally had to tunnel through the pile of snow the plow left to get to my animals..... there better not be more snow coming

LOL @ your brother's video game addiction. My 8 yr. old son would quit 3rd grade and play 24/7 if I let him.
My chickens were *cluck-clucking* while I was visiting them earlier. It does sound as if they're complaining!

Thats snow chicken is to flippin cute! I wanted to lay in the snow lol but desided I didnt want to track tons of snow in to the house..maybe later ill try to make a giant snowman!
