Hudson Valley NY *chat thread*

It is a tough topic, I'm not sure where I stand. I just think it goes a lot deeper than we realize. I wish that there was more scientific research. I'm only looking at the historical context because it's easier for me to understand. I worry much more about processed foods, and just try to produce or procure my food myself.
yeah i agree with you, and i think when you avoid processes foods your avoiding a lot of the GMOs and other harmful chemicals. I just know that in the past two weeks or so i completely cut processed foods and GMOs out of my diet and i feel so much better lately. When i eat a meal i feel full longer and i dont feel i have to eat as much and i have had more energy and have been in a better mood and i just feel healthier overall and i would like to extend that to my animals as well.

I cant wait to start my garden! Where can I buy non GMO seeds or organic seedlings around here? Iv never cared much about what I ate..but recently I just quit smoking and have been feeling so much better! So I think its time to start eatting healthier!

High Mowing Organic Seeds. Huge selection of heirloom plants and plants that thrive in this area. They are online and do have a great catalog.

I'm on day 19 on my hatch. Yesterday I took my automatic turner out. Add water in the reservoirs plus I put it terrycloth towel in a bowl in there and a sponge. Took out the vent plugs but now my humidity in low it's at 39 so I put one of the vent plug back in and now it's at 42. Can anybody can help with this, I don't know what to do? :(

I have little giant still air incubator. I add water and put both vent plugs back in. My humidity is at 69 now. I have my fingers cross, that this didn't kill the chicks. This is my first hatch!
