Huge bee hive near my front door!!! *pic*

It depends where you are located as to whether you need a permit. I took a beekeeping class (since my mom already had bees) and decided I didn't have enough time to properly care for bees - I help out my mom sometimes. I decided to get mason bees instead so they could help with pollination of fruit trees. Find a local beekeeper (or maybe even your neighbor) and see if they would mentor you.
Thanks! :)

Like MANY folks....I like HONEY and HONEYBEES.

(But, I don't wish to go to the trouble of "Bee-Keeping". )

I also like the WASPS.....they don't bother me at all....AND...
The WASPS kill a LOT of "Bad Bugs" in my VEGETABLE GARDEN !!!

( I don't KNOW whether WASPS are good "pollinators" like Honeybees are....
....but, I let them bee....)

THE CURMUDGEON

So good that the swarm got rehomed rather than destroyed!

Those brothers of yours are in need of a sound tongue lashing.

Those are honey bees. And killing any single one of the few that remain is grossly irresponsible and self-centered. We are in a bee crisis, and we need to protect the bees we still have.
Oooh! I didn't know this!! Now I'm REALLY glad they didn't kill them!!!! Another update! And last update of the bees!! They are now gone! My neighbor didn't know if he removed the queen or not but now that they're gone he obviously did! I'm happy they left unharmed! :) They left some honey actually! Not a lot and it dried up but I find it pretty cool! Thanks everyone!!!
