Sounds like you have this covered! Great job! By any chance did you take a photo of the golf ball size abscess?

I dont! I wish I had a before and after. I had to throw the abcess in the woods before my assistant lost his cookies. Not to mention my chicken was trying to run off with it. But I definately feel confident in doing this now in case it happens in the future. Its got to be a huge relief for her as well! Very happy with how it went and she was a great patient!
