Huge egg from little hen

Tell me if this is right...I’ve read than double Yolkers are very rare. like one in 1,000? However..we get about 25-28 eggs a day...and we’ve had very many double Yolkers. I havent kept track...but, definitely more than what that statistic says I should have....?

It's not rare at all...
...can be fairly common with new layers, especially with high production type birds.
