Huge mallard colored duck

We saw a huge mallard colored drake swimming in the creek. It had a very long thick neck and was as big if not bigger then our pekin duck. What kind of duck could it be? I have looked at pictures of Rouen ducks and they look more compact then this duck.

Could it have been a mixed breed goose? mixed like between wild and domestic?

I have never seen a goose around this area before, but it did have the thick, long neck like a goose. It's neck was almost as long as its body.

Sounds more like a goose to me, could have been passing through or maybe dumped off, or it maybe the lock ness monster.
