Huge Testicles!

I just realized my rooster that I butchered today had huge testicles. about the size of two grapes added together..... EACH!!!! He was a rir and about 6 or 7 months old. Is this normal? Will more aggressive roos have bigger testicles? I wish I took a picture.

Sounds normal for a healthy bird to have pullet egg sized testis. Birds all have internal testicles located in their upper back area.
