Got a chick at the feed store. They said they were bantams. I asked what kind and they said "bantam"., I'm adventurous so i got her. She doesn't look like any chicken I've ever seen.

She sort of looks like an Old English game bantam from that pic. I have a black OEGB that is very, very similar to her.

OEGB can fly! We learned that when ours was about 10 weeks old. -daughter thought that a crow was perched on the roof of our patio. It was our OEGB.

-clipped a wing soon after, or she wouldn't have stayed in the yard.
