A long, long, long, time ago, there was 4 rulers. Spiritual rulers. They took shape in animal form. The first Spirit was Ruler of the Amphibians. The second Spirit was Ruler of the Rodents. The third Spirit was Ruler of the Mammals. The third Spirit was Ruler of Reptiles. Any animal in that category is included. They held a meeting, on which human should have a Spirit animal. They argued and argued but they came to a agreement. Whoever loved, cared, and protects the animal, that is their Spirit and animal. They can shift onto their Spirit animal and communicate with it. They have natural instincts, like a real animal has, and the animal side has a mind of their own, but, the human can control it. When their animal wants to come it it will bug the cr*p out of you. If you forcefully push them, aside, they will try to tear through, but the manage to sometiems can tear out. Like a werewolf. They are given elements from their animal. Strength, fast healing, and speed. The Rulers are giving away there anmals from their tribe and willingly giving them away. They have frown old and can no longer take the lead roll.
