From the looks of that second picture, looks like you picked the only pullet.They had one black, three white, a couple bantams and the grey one. Considered blue I guess but no real lacing. They had one that was crowing which they removed. They said non of the others were crowing.
X2...the black is a male ! You have yourself a nice pair, one blue, and one black!The Black is 100% male. Just look at those long, thin back feathers, only males get those.
I know! I wish I knew their story! The whole group was dropped overnight in one drop bin...poor things. I don't know if it's possibly a local breeders cull chickens? They all seemed very healthy.Aracauna mixes, and the blue one is a blue... Strange that such a rare breed is in a shelter !
