Humanely putting a duck down?

Do not give him any human meds that you think will make him fall asleep that is the worst because it doesn't always make them fall asleep, it makes there internal organs start shutting done and then they suffer. You can make a. I will send you a PM with a link to make a chamber that you can euthanize him in. I will included my phone # and I can give you more info on the phone on how to make it.
I would like the info on this too please, I’ve been caring for a very sick duck for almost 3 weeks now.

My grandpa said To put a duck out of its misery you put a towel over it (so you don’t have to see and it’s blinded) and twist its neck a few times. Then check for heart beat, blinking. Movement. Etc.

Does that chamber connect to an automobile exhaust?

A hatchet is instant.

No, it probably uses the vinegar and baking soda mix to form co2. There is a way to make a box with a container of baking soda inside, then when vinegar is added the lid is closed, and it bubbles and replaces the oxygen in the box. Supposedly it is a peaceful way to do it.

I hate killing my animals, but yea a hatchet or machete is instant.

I have an almost 3 month old pekin duckling. About a month or so ago he hurt himself somehow. He cannot keep his head up, is very weak, and sturggles to eat, drink and move around. I'veasked for help several times and even called my chicken DR. I don't think he will get any better for he hasn't. He's had niacin in his water for a few weeks. He's clearly suffering, is there any humane way to put him down? I don't want to break his neck or anything, maybe something I can give him?

Thanks,

Erin
when my duck was sick i took him to the vet and they did euthanasia. he didn’t feel any paint and passed after a minute peacefully

I have the same issue with my 1.5-year-old Pekin duck. Vet said she has serious arthritis. Please help! Thank you!

Hello, same here. My 1.5 year old Pekin duck has serious arthritis on one leg and appears to be happening on her other foot. I'm sure soon, she will not be able to walk. Could you please tell me about your chamber because my duck will soon need to be put to sleep. I'm sure she's having a lot of pain walking. Thank you!

Oh my - my young Peking is doing the same thing- I treated her for botulism a few weeks ago and I thought she had turned the corner but she is declining again and I feel so bad for her. Her quack is very weak sounding and her eyes are goopy with mucus’s. I have to give her daily baths cause she can not clean herself. Her feathers have not come in fully and the oil in her feathers are no longer present. I really think it’s time to help her die- not sure what to do!
