Humidity after chicks hatch?

Both of my chicks have hatched and are wet. My humidity is at 81%, can I open the lid and swipe my wet rags outta there real quick?

Yes, you need to get the humidity lower or they will take forever to dry.

If all the chicks have hatched, yes, no problem. If you still have eggs to hatch, don't get too impatient. My humidity usually gets up in the mid to upper 80's when chicks start to hatch and stays up there. They eventually dry.
