Humidity and temperatures

I would check the one you purchased before buying another. I added ways to check them in a previous post. Should only take a few moments to check how far off temps may be.

I would focus on temperature currently. Don’t add anymore water and let the humidity drop to between 30% - 35%. The temperature is going to be more important to stabilize.

So I don’t have a thermometer like the one in the instruction that you sent me. This one in the incubator is for both humidity and temp. I will do that calibration now.
The incubator sits in a styrofoam container. I heard that was good for keeping it warm.
We are in the dead of winter and it’s cold outside. Our room has a humidifier in it. It runs around 41%.
The humidity in the incubator was 50 and now dropped down to 25 (in two days)
I was doing dry incubation and couldn’t raise the temp any higher than 12, so I decided to place to lids with water in it, under the first tray of the incubator.
I bought a $.97 wall thermometer that I was going to place in it while I calibrated the hygrometer.
