The humidity is currently at 42%, can't seem to raise it. Day 18 of incubation.

Is this percentage fine?

It’ll be fine as long as there are no pips. When there are external pips, you will need to get it higher.

You can salt test your hygrometer to see its accuracy, but that’ll take a while.

I might try that if I can’t get the humidity up, how long does it normally take?

24 to be entirely sure (mainly for slower hygrometers) but on average 12.
