I went from humidity too low to 78% now. I had about 7 chicks hatch at the same time and it drove the humidity up. It has been about five hours and they are still very wet. Should I be worried or is it normal for them to take so long to dry? They temp is 99.5 so they should be warm enough.

if theres none left to hatch then i wouldnt worry about it but if ones pipped id try and down it a bit as that is high for an egg with a pip

This morning when I checked, the chicks had dried and three more had hatched. The humidity is at 59 and I have two more in the process of hatching. Have learned a lot about this incubator and I really like it. Hopefully, I can find a neighbor that wants chicks so I can hatch more. Otherwise, I will probably do another batch from my hens so I can practice what I learned from this hatching.
