Ok, so I was hoping to get some advice from the experienced Hatcher's on the topic of humidity.

In general, what is your theory on regulating the humidity to maintain proper weight loss by visual watch of air cell size? Do you consider the humidity as an average through out the hatch in which during the incubation the humidity is raised and lowered to try and maintain proper size of the air cell? Or do you feel that any major ups or downs can kill the embryo? I'm mostly questioning the adjustment theories around the 14th -ish, late term time frame because of the sensitive nature of the embryo development early on.

I've read some who suggest that you drop or even remove all water for a day or two if the size of the air cell is very small around day 14 check. This gives a few days before lockdown to adjust the air cell to optimal size.

Even further yet, do you maintain different levels based on the breed of chicken?
