Hi people,

I have some khaki campbell duck eggs in my brinsea mini Eco incubator, I had an idea to put a warm damp cloth on top of the eggs to simulate the wet duck coming back from a swim. I leave the damp cloth on top of the eggs (with the lid on) for half an hour, this raises the humidity greatly. My eggs are around 9 days into development.
My questions are: is this good for the eggs?
And is this the right time in the incubation to be doing this?
Thank you

This post has been yo for six days. Please can somebody help.

I have only done 2 duck hatches, but I learned from the first attempt that my humidity was way too high. The second try I did a dry hatch and humidity was about 35% without adding any water and I had 6/6 ducks hatch. I would recommend low humidity not higher humidity during incubation.
