I have done staggered hatches before, but just with chicken eggs. I have 2 chicken eggs (was just given them one day and they are FCM, so I couldn't resist) that are on day 16. Have one set on quail on day 9 and another set of quail (also just given to me!) that are on day 2. I have a farm innovator still air. My last hatch were all shrink wrapped and never made external pips, so my humidity was messed up and I'm afraid I've already messed it up for these eggs.
It's running about 55% but was higher around 65% when I got home from work. What do I need to do as far as the humidity goes when the chicken eggs are due, without harming the quail eggs?
Really any advise on what I need to do or not do, will be greatly appreciated. I don't want to go through losing them all again.
