My incubator is running at about 45-50% humidity. Friday the 24 is lockdown for me and I'm not sure how to raise the humidity higher for the last 3 days.

Any ideas?

Wet a square of sponge and squeeze out just enough water so it doesn't drop. Dampen and fold a half piece of paper towel and lay it over the sponge. The paper towel will wick the water from the sponge and increase the humidity. Also fill all the troughs in the bottom of the bator.

Humidity is a factor of temperature and surface area of water (not volume) available for evaporation. Increase the trough size if possible. Plug vent holes or raise the abient humidity in the room where incubator is. Adding sponges or damp rags will work too.
