Humidity in incubator

Can anyone help?

I have 6 turkey eggs in a conatutto 16 incubator on day 24 and I thought things were going great until last night when I decided to put a humidity reader in there (testing for hatching) and it only reads 26%. I am not sure if I should have done, but I have added a damp cloth, all water buts are full and have covered the two vent holes and it has increased to 35%. I ve read that humidity should be >65% for hatching. What can I do? Is my incubator faulty? Out the 6 eggs, 5 are dark with air pocket so I thought things were going ok. Please advice me!

First, don't panic.
Turkeys take 28 days to incubate so your fine.
Tomorrow you can stop turning the eggs and work on raising your humidity.
Try adding an extra cloth and then measuring your humidity increase so you don't over do it.
Prewarming the water to 100 degrees and wetting the cloth with that water will help your temperature remain steady as well.

Thankyou so much, I warmed the water and the humidity has shot up to 64%. Everything is crossed for a sucessful hatch.
