Humidity issues any ideas?

Good deal. The extra holes will not be an issue as long as you can open and close them. They just give you more adjustment.

Being a still air, have you checked the temps in all four corners of the cooler? It seems still air incubators (especially larger ones) have a lot of hot and cool spots in them. As long as you're checking the temps right on top of the eggs you should be good, but maybe down the road you can add a fan to it. You can get one for around $10 and it more evenly disperses the heat which typically results in a little better hatch rates.

Keep us posted on how your hatch goes....

Light bulb sits dang near center of bator, probe is about an inch above eggs, I need to play with the position a little with the rod holding it up, so it doesn’t touch anything. Ya I thought about the fan idea last second and figured if this fails I’ll add one before I try again. I haven’t checked the corners with eggs in, I did check it yesterday while I was messing around and adjusting things, seemed pretty close to 1 degree diffence max all the way around.
