Humidity Problems Down South

Hello! I'm in southeast Tennessee and I CANNOT get the humidity stabilized in my incubator and I don't know what else to do. I think it may be because the humidity outside is so crazy right now. I am fighting this thing all day and night long - open the vent, close the vent, add a few drops of water, add a lot of water, dry all the water out of the holder. Nothing is working. There just doesn't seem to be a "sweet spot" where 55% lives. I just candled and the eggs are developing just fine, but I don't want to lose them at the end because they're stuck to the inside of the eggs or because they drown. Has anyone else ever successfully hatched turkey eggs after 28 days of wild humidity swings? The average humidity is probably very close to 55% but it is not a consistent state. ANY advice would be much appreciated.

I feel your pain. Southern humidity is something else. You just have to go with it. As long as it's staying 45-55% you should be good. Mine sometimes get in the 60% but oh well. Good luck with your hatch!
