My harlequen duck eggs are on day 28. In my Brinsea mini, they were so big, they laid horizontal pretty much the whole time and now 4 of 7 have pipped on the wrong end. Because of this I have been assisting little by little. 5 waited until today (or middle of last night) to pip and have done little today, so I was thinking maybe my humidity was too high. However, when I went to assist one just now who pipped bellow the air sac, again, and made a small hole for it to breath, I noticed that the inner membrane was white and dry instead of moist like I expected.
Does this indicate that they are being shrink wrapped and the Humidity is actually too low?
As it is now, most stand to hatch on day 29 or 30, is that considered late and probably due to high humidity (temp was very stable)?
