humidity question???? need post by today!!!!!!!!!!!

OH I FORGOT....for my sixth grade sciencefair project i had two eggs in a jar with a light over it i had a thermometer in there and it stayed at 100% F i turned the eggs every day at 4:00 i turned until like the 23 day and i figured nothing was gonna hatch so i just stoped turning then 2days later my mom came and picked me up early for school and she told me and she sped all the way home. when i got home i watched charlie hatch!!!!! was this just luck that he hatched or what cuz i didnt even know anything about humidity
