I just set up my incubator and I am about to get the temp steady, but no matter what I do the humidity stays 23-27%?? I filled the center ring and one side well. I am following what I have read here and not the looney instructions. I have a LG with a new installed fan and turner. I have 6 toy eggs in it to take up the space my 6 BR eggs will take. What is going on?

Definitely check the accuracy before you put real eggs in. If it is off (and I have seen some off by quite a bit) you could be raising the humidity too high...or low).

So at 8 hours I was at 66% humidity during calibration, stayed that way since then - I am at just over 11 hours. So does this mean I add 9 to whatever my hydrometer says? So when it read 23% it was really 32%. Also I found plugging back in the plug over the fan and taking out the other one has stabilized my temps, maybe it will work for the humidity as well?
