Humidity question...

Hey gang...Day 2 for our hatch project..The temp in my LG still air has been great at 99.5 up to 100.5....I bought the hydrometer and can't seem to get the humidity above 36%..the bottom chamber are full of water and I have 1 red plug out.....What can I do to get it up?..HELP!!

36 is fine. I dont even pay attention to the humidity the first 18 days. Since I started doing that, my hatches have been better.

Don't worry about your humidity just yet. Your temp for a still air should also be about 101.5

Put the plug in, see if that helps!!!

You can add a shallow tray under the wire, or stick half of a plastic cup filled with water in there.

The object is to increase the surface area of water you have. The tray's in the Little Giant do not provide adequate surface area to properly create humidity as needed.
