humidity question

set my eggs today in my Hovabator and the temp is holding perfectly at 99.5% but the humidity is staying around 47% how do i get tht up to 50 the water trough is full to the brim this is my first hatch and all of you have been so wonderful with helping me with wonderful advise!!!

i mist the eggs once today and tht shot it up to 51 but its back down to 47 now

Thank you........i have been worried allll day!!! Im just relieved tht everything is working properly with my new bator....the auto egg turner, fan, temp the whole shabang!! Only 20 more days of this lol

The first few hatches are really, really nerve wracking, and if coming here for a bit of validation is all it takes, feel free to visit any time you like!!!!

I am in lockdown now at 41% and not at all freaked out.
 
it really does help talking to others who have been here and are experienced at it and have learned to ropes....it really makes a difference for me....it's a blessing gettin advise from someone who has been there

I want to remind you to calibrate your hygrometer before every hatch. Most run on batteries, and we all know they run down. Mine are cheap enough I just buy a new one

finally found a digital one at wal mart tht is a temp and humidity i hope i got the right thing? it runs on a battery too....is there one better tht i should get?
 
Ty Craptastic i will do tht!! I was just reading Carpal Tunnel rehab on your icon....i just had carpal Tunnel release surgery :o)
