Today is day 21! We had one hatch this morning and a few others have pipped. The humidity was 67 then spiked to the mid 80's today! Is that bad? Is there anything i can do to fix it?

Try not worry and everything will be fine. When the chicks hatch they are wet and therefore create more surface area of moisture which bumps the humidity up. As the chick starts to dry and fluff up you will find that it decreases the humidity and it will go back down. When another hatches it will go back up again and the cycle will continue. Just make sure you have all your vents open or plugs out for the most amount of air flow in the incubator.

I've had several chicks hatch all at the same time and hit nearly 90% in the incubator with no ill affects and everyone has been fine.

Congratulations on your hatched chick and good luck with the rest of your hatch :fl

Oh that makes sense! I was thinking it'd seriously hurt them! Thank you :)

I just wanted to thank you again! We have a Great Hatch I think! 7 out of 12! And I found out recently that the ones that didn't hatch, had been frozen before I purchased them.

This is great news! Congratulations

Being frozen would certainly account for them not hatching
