humidity spike while hatching

the humidity is up to 83%. Three chicks just hatched out within the past hour...should I crack the bator to let some moisture out, or will they be okay. there are still pips and zips in there..

Your good. It does that. As the chicks dry it will come down.

what about all the shells in the way? is that okay too?

All is well, shells and all!! When the chicks start hatching they bring the humidity up since they hatch out wet. They will just move around the shells, don't worry.

As the chicks hatch, the moisture of wet chicks and wet shells will increase your humidity. Everything sounds fine
