Humidity Temp increase odds to hatch hens

I have heard and read many times that a certain humidity or temp in the incubator will increase the odds of hatching and producing hens. Does anyone have any info on this or know what those temps and humidity should be? Where would I go to get this info?

Old wives tails. None are true. Chicken sex is determined genetically at conception.

You can run the temp to high an more males tend to die than the females but you lose both.

Sex is predetermined by the hen before ovulation and even before fertilization (hen is heterozygous, roo is homozygous) which means it doesn't matter what you do to the egg after it is laid. Whether or not it will be male or female has already been determined.

I have read that there is a researcher in Australia that is attempting to use hormones to manipulate/control the sex of the hen's ova before it becomes an egg. That would certainly be cool for those of us wanting a flock of egg layers.
