Humidity the first 18days

Was wondering about 42-45% humidity alright for the first 18 days?i am having trouble getting it to 50% without getting to close to 60%.

in my experience, lower humidity is better since it encourages the egg to evaporate. I use the dry incubation method (see link in my signature) and I am for 30% humidity the first 18 days; 55-65% the last 3 days.

Thanks,sounds good because looks like I'm locked at 42% and I know I won't have any problems getting high the last three days.
