Hello all, I currently have 5 hens and a rooster, and just recently wandered down the wrong TSC aisle and "accidentally" got 6 baby ducks.. Wonder how that happened...

Anyways I am hoping to learn more to improve and hopefully expand my chicken flock and to take care of my ducklings well, as I am new to them! If you have any beginner or general advice for either ducks or chickens, I am always open to learning more!!

Welcome! You will love them! Did you get them sexed or straight run? Watch for Drake’s if you have too many, they can harm the girls.

I got them unsexed. So I will definitely watch for that once they grow some.

We've bred and raised silkies for many years, then all of a sudden, we had two surprise ducklings. They were both female. We have three females now. They are wonderful to watch, as well as the chickens, and they all get along.
