Hi, I’ve set 30 chicken eggs away in my incubator yesterday. I can’t get the humidity below 62/63% I’ve tried removing water. Is this too high and will it effect my eggs? Thanks

Try to calibrate you hygrometer, to make sure its working right. I like to keep my humidity lower, around 35%. I am even doing a dry hatch right now. Where you dont add any water at all.

It may settle down. Give it some time as sometimes water gets where it shouldn't and takes awhile to evaporate, increasing the humidity in the meantime. It's not urgent to 'fix' it right away. There's a lot more flexibility in humidity than with temperature (which must be pretty precise). It's the average humidity over the course of incubation, not what it is at any one point in time.
