I put water in bottom & bowl of water on rack (I will see were it is in AM)

If you put that much water in it now please don't wait till morning to check it. Just check it in a couple hours. You probably don't need both water devices? Either the bowl or the bottom of the bator? Speckled Hen correct me if I am wrong?

I would check in a hour or two and not let it run all night with that much water in it. Here is the acurite with the water wiggler. They work great for $12 you can't go wrong.

I agree; it shouldn't take all night to get a reading then if you need to remove some water you can do that. You should only need the water reservoir in the bator not a sponge or bowl at the beginning of incubation. I think you just need to get a proper reading.

I have 2 sets of eggs we will call 1 standard & 1 bantam!

I have standard eggs came yesterday about 2pm

I have bantam eggs coming tomorrow!

I want to leave my standard eggs out till tomorrow morning & when bantam come tomorrow let them set 8 hours & put them in bator that night!

So they would both be in the same day!

What are your expertise opinions?
