How can I get my humidity level up, I have four cups of water, and two of them shamwow clothes soaked it my incubator. I can't get the humidity level up past 50% and chicks should start hatching in the next day or so.
Could running the fan 24/7 have something to do with the level?

50% is fine. I have good hatches with 40%. Once the first one hatches the humidity will skyrocket anyways.

If you are still worried, you could mist the bator with warm water. Try to avoid spraying the eggs themselves though. I can't decide in my mind's eye if spraying the eggs directly is beneficial or harmful...[IMG]
