I locked down this morning,, raised my humidity to 70%. Went to pick up some chick crumb from the suppliers, where the man told me that I shouldnt have raised it until tomorrow but I shouldn't change it now or open the incubator as I will ruin the hatch!

Then I came home to find my humidity up to 72%.
I have chicken eggs in and its day 19.
What do I do?

I raise temps on day 18...thats what Ive always been told and learned...those are the last few days of hatching and when its suppose to be raised to help the chicks with a smoother release from the shell.

I raise mine on day 18 and all of my chicks that have got to lockdown have hatched with the exception of one that had a deformed head.I lockdown right around 73% will let it go 1% either way
