Hello there, so this post is for people that are having trouble keeping their humidity up during lockdown or hatching day, where you don't want to open the incubator. Now I should mention this might not work for everybody's incubators, but I have the magic fly Auto egg incubator, or the Janoel 12 also has the same vent hole. So I just put a wet paper towel, just a small piece and wrapped it around a meat thermometer as tight as I could without ripping it, and very carefully stuck it through the vent hole. This should slowly bring your humidity up, you're going to want to probably take it back out after a little bit, but it's a quick way to bring the humidity up just a tad.

EDIT: also, try to scrape the towel off into the incubator because the humidity will go right back down lol 😅😅😂😂😂

You can also use sponges or use a straw and a syringe through the vent hole.

There are many ways to accomplish raising the humidity without lifting the lid.

I keep wishing I had a straw, would be much easier lol
