I'm having a super hard time getting humidity to rise in my incubator. Its at just over 50% now, and its pipping time! I had one chick successfully hatch out but unfortunately didn't make it later on. The others are getting very close (these were gathered from hens, so each have different end dates).

But I can't get the humidity to come up any more and I'm worried the others won't make it out. I've filled the bottom of the incubator (the little sections designed for water, and I have three more containers of water sitting beside the eggs, but it just isn't going up. Whats wrong? :(

You can set wet sponges at the bottom of the incubator, what i do sometimes is wet my hands and then sprinkle water over the eggs. If you feel that youve done everything, and it doesnt work, then the hydrometer might be the problem so you may need to calibrate it.
