I'm so glad advice and knowledge is so close by!

When setting get the temps correct the first thing. Then get your eggs, number and candle them, make notes on each egg. The reason for this is, if there is a problem you can refer back and it will help if you have them. Add a small amount of water to the bator 30cc for now. These eggs will have to warm up and they are going to go through a sweat also, so dont put in alot of water. The room temps and room humidity will have a big effect on the bators temps and humidity.

Get some copies of this http://pa4h.poultry.psu.edu/PA 4-H Embryology Record II.pdf After about 48hrs the temps are going to stablize and the humidity should not be over 45% I try to average 42%. Dont worry when it gets down in the thirtys. Just add a little water and try to add the same amount each day, you will catch on the amount to use real fast. Candle on day 0,7,14,18. You have to increase the air cell during these 18 days and this is done by the egg losing moisture so less moisture is what you are after ie less humidity. On day 18 stop turning the eggs. You need to raise the humidity, now you can add more water to get this done.

Now! Dont open the bator these next few days! Let nature take its place!
