humidity, yes or no?

I only have two hatches under my belt. Each of 9 eggs started. First hatch I lost hair trying to keep humidity where "it should" be. Hatched 4 of 9. This next hatch I just kept it above 50% and got 7 of 9, and my hair grew back.

Whenever I over think items, I tell myself K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid).

Humidity isn't "good" or "bad" it's absolutely necessary What level is necessary for one person may not be necessary for someone else. Each person has to determine what humidity percentage is correct for where they live, how the house is heated & etc. The best way to determine that is starting with 40% & then adjusting up or down according to air cell development Humidity is just as important as proper heat, it's just not as easy to adjust. Once you determine what is the proper humidity is, it rarely changes.
