hello i am having a humidity problem in incubator.i have a styrofoam box with a light temp is 100,light is on dimmer switch.problem is i cant get humidity over 46% i have a water container that is 4x8 1 inch of water in it.how can i get more.

Simple, add another 4x8 or ?? Humidity is controlled by water surface---you can get it higher by adding a bigger surface size or lower by putting a smaller water pan in. Depth has no effect----only deeper means it will last longer between the re-fills.

A wet paper towel will get it up but will dry out quick so then the humidity is up, then down unless you are adding water as it dries. Its best to use a containers the size you need with some depth that will last a day or so.
