Humidity

I have 3 incubators going. I dry hatch. I have one full of Black Copper Maran eggs. The humidity in the house is 59%. Gonna rainn any minute. lol. The humidity in the incubator is 49%. I want to lower it some, but how? If I open the vent will it lower or raise the humidity?

The vent should be open throughout the incubation process. it may raise it a little but you don't want to go too much lower.

Actually I'd like it to be 30% or so.

I agree...throw the vent plug away. Leave it open always.

That's a little too low, you don't want the egg to dry out to quickly or the aircell will take up too much room and the chick won't be able to get in position

Opening the vent did bring the humidity down several points. @48 degrees now. I am happy with that.
