the humidity in my hovabater wont go down.its a forced air one theres no water in there and the humidity is still at like 85-90.what do i do?

tell us more.. what did you try to make it go down? where are you in days of incubation? what kind of eggs are you doing? any other hints?

im trying to hatch red sex links and its been 7 days and i dont know what to try maybe i will try getting a different hygrometer. the one i got is just a cheap one. is there a special hygrometer for hatching chickens?

all of my hygrometers are cheap ones.. $10 or less.. they are digital and they work..

does your incubator have plugs in the vent holes? try removing them.

where is your bator set up? in a damp basement?

did you pre-run the bator before you added eggs?

do you have any cracked eggs in there??
