Haven't hatched anything since Sept. Putting eggs in bator & totally forgot what humidity is supposed to be! duh! Could someone let me know. I know temp is around 99.5? they're silkies. At hatch humidity should be 70? talk about a brain fart! Please let me know asap. Thanx!
 
HAHAHA!!!! 40-50% is best. But then again you are going to get all kinds of opinions on this one. I CAN tell you that 70% is way too high.
 
It is supposed to be at about 50%-55%

Some people do "dry hatches" and I think that is 35%-45%


I incubate at 45%

I shoot for 40% but that is because I live in a very dry climate and higher than that is near impossible.
